Clinical Hypnosis

Clinical hypnosis can solve a lot of problems. Over the years hypnotism has been the subject of much debate and controversy. Even some experts in the hypnotism field have found it difficult to explain.

What is the effect of hypnosis on your mind and behavior? Are any risks involved? One of the common concerns is that while you are hypnotized you may have too little control over your behavior.

Stage hypnotists rely on this aspect, commanding volunteers from the audience to preform acts that they normally would not do. This is using hypnosis merely for entertainment.

One authority says that a hypnotized subject may be susceptible to suggestion, may have ready access to unconscious drives, and may feel that all social and personal limits on behavior have been eliminated.

As a hypnotized subject you enjoy an undiluted concentration of your faculties. That makes you very attentive to a hypnotist’s suggestions and more cooperative in carrying out those same suggestions.
